I tattoo blackwork, geometric work, blackouts and cover-ups, from a private studio in Bristol.
I want you to end up with a tattoo you'll be happy to wear for the rest of your life, and one I'm proud of too.
The things I care about most are composition, good technique, and how a tattoo holds up once it's healed, not just how it looks the day it's done. A piece should read clearly from across a room. If you have to be up close to tell what it is, it isn't working. I look at it the way I'd look at any piece of art.
I've been tattooing for over ten years and I still learn something every day. I love picking up new techniques and taking inspiration from other visual art. I've visited studios around the world and learned from some really good artists, and I've sat for plenty of big work myself, which changes how you tattoo other people.
I design every piece on the day, drawn straight onto your skin, around your idea and whatever we work out at the consultation. Most of it is freehand, so the flow and placement suit your body. With the geometric work I also design the symmetry digitally to get it exact.

How pricing works.
I work in fixed session rates, full or half day, in long focused sittings. The total cost of a piece depends on its size, placement, complexity, and how many sessions it needs, so every project is quoted individually.
A deposit secures your booking, it's not an extra cost, it carries over and comes off your final session.
I also offer a pre-design package: a set of custom design variations created on your own body from a photoshoot, so you can see your tattoo before we start.

Each design still has to be adjusted to fit you. I build my designs in segments, so I can move each part around to fit your body and where you want it.
Consultations
How consultations work.
Consultations are by appointment, on the first two Saturdays of each month. In person is preferred, and a video call also works.
We'll cover the design, placement, and anything else that needs sorting before we start. If you'd like to see how I approach a consultation, I explain it in this short video.

To book a consultation, send a DM on Instagram or use the booking link. If the project is a good fit, my assistant will send over available consultation slots and get you booked in.

Common questions.
How does pricing work?
I work in fixed full or half day session rates, in long focused sittings. The total depends on your project, size, placement, complexity, and how many sessions it needs, so every piece is quoted individually. Tell me your idea when you enquire and I'll give you a clear quote.
How many sessions will my tattoo take?
It depends on the size, placement and complexity of the tattoo. As a guide, geometry-based sleeves usually take 4 to 7 sessions, and a blackout sleeve usually takes 3 to 4 half-day sessions. Session counts can vary depending on the tattoo.
Do you do custom work only?
Yes. Everything I do is custom, created for the individual. I work purely in blackwork and geometry, that's my focus and where my best work is.
Do you offer pre-designs?
Designs are usually created together on the day. If you'd like to see options in advance, I offer a pre-design package. We arrange a short photoshoot of the area first, an arm, or a full back, for example, and from those photos I create three design variations on your own body for you to choose between.
Can I book a consultation online?
